Hide and Seek: 90s Pop Up Shop

Lately there seems to be an abundance of pop-up shops well…popping up. The latest addition is a nostalgia themed exhibition located on Dundas in Toronto. This past weekend myself and a couple other 90s babies decided to travel back in time to check it out. It’s appropriately named ‘Hide and Seek’.

Similar to the previous pop-up Happy Place, Hide and Seek is an ‘art’ exhibition comprised of multiple themed rooms. There are 12 in total and I suggest giving yourself at least 1-2 hours for pictures.

My opinion: Hide and Seek>Happy Place. Happy Place offers back drops with long lines for each. Hide and Seek boxes out themed rooms so you have more privacy when taking pictures instead of having people watching you from every angle. Granted, we went the second week so there was very little wait time and we even had spots to ourselves.

Tickets are also cheaper at Hide and Seek at $25 pp (Happy Place is $38). You can purchased by clicking here.

If you love taking pictures and channeling your inner Freaks and Geeks, I would go check it out for an afternoon!

Videodrome reference…anyone? where my film buffs at?

Trix may be for kids, but doing stupid stuff with your friends doesn’t have an age restriction!
